Leader Profiles

I accepted the Lord as my Savior at 25 years of age. My wife Nancy and I have been married since 1963 and we have 2 sons, Tony and Rick, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

We began attending Calvary Fellowship Monument in 2000 when the church opened, and I’ve had the privilege of serving the men of our congregation as the director the Men’ Ministry since 2001.

I’ve been walking with the Lord, teaching, discipling, and counseling ladies for 52 years. What an incredible blessing it has been! To come alongside and help ladies grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and to mature in Him is my heart’s desire.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Roger, since 1963, and we have two sons, Tony and Rick, six wonderful grandchildren, and even a great-grandson.

By God’s grace I have been one of the teachers at our ladies Bible study for seven years. Leading people to see, know, and love Jesus through the faithful and clear teaching of the Bible is my guiding passion. As women of God’s Word, we seek to copy Mary’s pattern and treasure all these things, pondering them in our hearts (Luke 2:19). When not arming believers with the truth of God’s Word, I am busy as a wife, mom, and I work within the professional HR field. In my free time I am ridiculously obsessed with memorizing Scripture; currently working on Matthew Chapter 18 and Ephesians Chapter 2.

At the age of 15, I came to Christ at a Seattle Young Life camp, and my life was truly changed. Early on at my local church, I got involved in children’s ministry and youth ministry.

After a short-term mission trip to Kathmandu Nepal in 1987, I was hired to teach high school science in Milpitas California. It was there I met my husband, Tony, and over the next few years we had the first two of our four children.

In 1995 we felt the Lord leading us into ministry and a move to Colorado Springs, and in March 2000, we were asked to serve under Pastor George Arnold at a new church plant in Monument.

We’ve been serving at Calvary Fellowship ever since and have been blessed to see the Lord’s faithfulness to His church, to our family, and to me personally.

I continue to teach science at TCA College Pathways, while serving our little ones in Children’s ministry, and helping with Women’s ministry as well.

Jesus has been Lord of my life since 1978. I started leading Bible Studies in 1979, while continuing my teaching studies at California Lutheran University. During that time, I also worked at the Christian radio station at my college, and KDAR radio in Oxnard, CA.

Throughout the years I’ve been involved with leading Student Ministries both at Calvary Fellowship and Crossroads Calvary, as well as serving in Men’s Ministries at Calvary Fellowship and Rocky Mountain Calvary. I am honored to be used by the Lord as a Deacon, helping teach and lead Calvary Fellowship Monument with the love and leading of our Savior Jesus Christ.

I accepted Christ as a child and have been brought up in Calvary Fellowship since its founding in 2000. I graduated high school from The Classical Academy in 2012 and then proceeded to attend Calvary Chapel Bible college in Murrieta, CA, graduating from there in 2014 with an Associate degree in Theology. In early 2015 I stepped into the role of Youth Leader and have joyfully been in that position ever since.

I received Christ at the age of 7 and was blessed with the privilege of growing up in a Christ-centered home. I have been married to my amazing wife Debbie since 1990, and we have 4 wonderful adult children: Joshua, Holly, Jeffrey, and Kyla. We have lived in the Colorado Springs area since 1995.

I have served the Lord at Calvary Fellowship Monument since its birth in 2000, first as an assistant to our founding pastor, George Arnold. In 2001 our elders ordained me for pastoral ministry, and in 2004 I began to serving the Lord and our members as our lead pastor.
