Acts 2:42 tells us that in the early days of the Christian church: “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” These fellowships are focused on that wonderful example set for us by those early believers in Jesus Christ.
We begin by sharing a meal with one another, enjoying a time fellowship and friendship. We then move to a time of exploring the endless riches of God’s Word and discussing together how we might better understand and apply them. We also give great emphasis to a time of prayer, turning our eyes to the Lord and bearing one another’s burdens through prayer.
